Applying for cost support without Suomi.fi e-authorization

Cost support for companies is available until 16:15 on August 31, 2020. The primary application method is the electronic application, which is uses Suomi.fi authorization for identification.

If a company cannot be identified due to the lack of Suomi.fi authorizations, cost support can also be applied for with a paper application. A pdf version of the application can be ordered from applicationform.costsupport@statetreasury.fi. The application arrives as a reply.

Completing an application in a paper form takes more time than completing an electronic application, as in an electronic application, some of the information is obtained directly from the tax administration. For this reason, we advise to complete the application as soon as possible.

The paper version of a cost support application must be received at the State Treasury Registry by 16:15 on 31 August 2020. It is a good idea to submit the paper version of the application scanned using the State Treasury’s security message service.

You can send a security e-mail here: https://turvaviesti.valtiokonttori.fi/

Select “Kustannustuki” from the drop-down menu.

Paper applications can also be submitted by post. Please note that the same day postage is not sufficient, but the application must be received at the State Treasury Registry on 31 August 2020 at 16:15.

The right of each company or entity to sign is defined in the register of authorities, such as a register of trade, associations or foundations. The application must be signed in accordance with the provisions on the right to sign.

If your company is able to complete the cost support application electronically, we encourage you to do so. Completing an electronic application is quick and effortless, and processing applications submitted electronically is quick. We recommend that you use the paper application only when the electronic application cannot be completed.
