Keynote speakers
Leena Nyman, Adviser, Confederation of Finnish Industries (EK)Leena Nyman has worked for the Confederation of Finnish Industries EK for over 10 years. EK is the leading business organisation in Finland and represents 17 member federations and 15 000 Finnish companies across all sectors. Leena started her EK career from economic policy and research. She currently works as an Adviser for digital and data policy. Leena is also EK’s representative at the Real Time Economy working group hosted by the Finnish Patent and Registration Office.
Hannu Kivinen, Lead Specialist, Peppol Authority of Finland (State Treasury)Hannu Kivinen works as a Lead Specialist at the Peppol Authority of Finland. His role includes working with industry experts to drive forward the adoption of the Peppol Network in Finland, especially on e-ordering. He is a member of the OpenPeppol Post-Award Change Management Board. He also takes part in the standardisation work done in CEN TC 440 as a convenor of WG7 eFulfilment on e-procurement and in TC 434 on e-invoicing.
Tiina Ruohola, Head of VAT, Confederation of Finnish Industries (EK) and Chair of the VAT Policy Group, BusinessEuropeTiina Ruohola is the Head of VAT at the Confederation of Finnish Industries EK. She has more than 20 years of experience in the area of VAT. Before joining EK, Tiina has worked for the Finnish Tax Administration as well as in two Big4 companies. Tiina is the Chair of BusinessEurope’s VAT policy group and also representing BusinessEurope in the European Commission’s VAT Expert Group.
Serge Libert, Project Manager, Peppol Authority of Belgium (BOSA)Serge Libert is eGOV Project Manager at Federal Public Service Policy and Support (BOSA), Directorate General Simplification and Digitalization (SD – formerly FedICT), since 2003. In the past he worked for various companies of the ICT, the telecom and the banking sector. Since 2013, BOSA SD is working together with other public and private entities to the rollout of e-Invoicing in Belgium. Serge is managing this long-term project on behalf of BOSA SD.
Ismo Tiittanen, Head of Strategy and Development, NCC Building FinlandIsmo Tiittanen is working as Head of Strategy and Development at NCC Building Finland. He is a seasoned strategy and transformation leader with extensive experience driving large-scale business change across the real estate and construction sectors. He plays a pivotal role in shaping strategic direction and fostering innovation within one of the Nordic’s leading construction companies.

Panel: Cross-sectoral e-invoice collaboration between Finland and Japan
Hiroyuki Kato, Director, Digital Agency and Cabinet Secretariat, Government of JapanMr. Kato began his career at Ministry of Finance Japan and played a key role in Tax Policy Bureau for more than 10 years. From September 2021, Mr. Kato has been leading the e-invoice initiative not only domestic but also international, as a leader of Japan Peppol Authority.
Yukako Sakai, Japan Airlines Co., LtdYukako Sakai joined the Japan Airlines Helsinki office in April 2022. She is responsible for a broad range of financial operations, including accounting, taxation, and corporate finance. She supports the branch’s fiscal health through precise administrative management.
Piritta Järvinen, Senior Financial Manager, Murata Electronics OyPiritta Järvinen is a Senior Financial Manager at Murata Electronics Oy, part of the Japanese Murata Group. She enjoys turning standards into practical business value, especially in cross border environments, and has been involved in Finland–Japan discussions supporting the adoption of einvoicing through Peppol.

Beate Schulte, Head of Peppol Authority Germany, Peppol Authority of Germany (KoSIT)Beate Schulte has been working as a computer scientist for public administration now for 25 years. Before that, she worked at a software company for several years, so she is also very familiar with the business perspective. Since 2018 Beate has been leading the Peppol Authority Germany.

Remy Mahbier, Relationship Manager, Netherland Peppol Authority (NPA)Remy Mahbier is Relationship Manager at the Netherlands Peppol Authority (NPA), responsible for driving the adoption of Peppol in the Netherlands. With a background in various finance roles, he works closely together with Peppol stakeholders to ensure data exchange via Peppol becomes business as usual.
Stef Duteweert, Subject Matter Expert, Dutch Authority for Digital Infrastructure (RDI)Stef Duteweert is Subject Matter Expert at the Dutch Authority for Digital Infrastructure (RDI), responsible for supervising Dutch eIDAS trust services (and specifically Peppol service providers). Through close cooperation, the NPA and RDI ensure the reliability, interoperability, and security of the Peppol network in the Netherlands.

Nordic panel: Peppol beyond invoicing – ordering, logistics, and sustainability
Noora Salonen, Development Manager, Peppol Authority of Finland (State Treasury)Noora Salonen is a Development Manager at the Finnish State Treasury and has been involved in building the Finnish Peppol Authority from the start. She has contributed to the Finnish Real Time Economy project and currently represents the Peppol Authorities in the OpenPeppol change management board responsible for agreements, processes, and policies.
Magnus Johansson, Strategist, Peppol Authority of Sweden (Digg)Magnus Johansson is a strategist at Digg and a member of the OpenPeppol’s Logistics change management board, contributing since the launch of the Peppol Logistics community in 2024. He has played an active role in supporting the Swedish construction industry toward Peppol‑based processes and formats. With a long career in the IT sector, Magnus brings extensive experience in logistics, production, and supply chain management within the e‑procurement and e‑business domain.
Jan Mærøe, Product Manager, Digital Post‑Award Processes, Peppol Authority of Norway (DFØ)Jan Mærøe has experience from digital processes at business and semantic level for private and public sector. He is involved in national, Nordic and European digitalisation programs and projects.
Asbjørn Snæland, Head of Section, Peppol Authority of Denmark (ERST)Asbjørn Snæland works at the Danish Business Authority, where he leads efforts to embed structured CO₂e emissions data directly into electronic invoices – bridging digital infrastructure like Peppol and NemHandel with the reporting realities of CSRD and the GHG Protocol. Through the Automatic Sustainability Reporting initiative, he has helped develop and pilot standards that allow climate data to flow automatically through existing business systems, driven by a belief that the invoice can be far more than a payment document – but a trusted data highway for the green transition.
