A foreign citizen residing in Finland may be eligible to open an ASP account. To be eligible to open an ASP account in a Finnish bank, the borrower must have a Finnish social security number.
ASP loans are only granted to first-time home-buyers. The apartment or house purchased with the mortgage must be located in Finland and purchased for owner-occupied use.
